Capstone Year in Taiwan
In anticipation of the successful completion of their first four years at the University of Mississippi and the achievement of Advanced High proficiency in the Chinese language, all Flagship students are expected to participate in the Capstone Year in Taiwan. Students spend the fall semester at the prestigious National Chengchi University in the city of Taipei. There, they further develop and refine their Chinese language skills by studying alongside native speaking students in their major areas. During the spring, the Flagship Center arranges internship opportunities appropriate to students’ interests where they can gain invaluable insight into the workplace culture of Taiwan within their chosen professional field.
