It has come to our attention that several SCS invitees are not receiving their invitation/registration e-mails. This is only occurring for those students who are using gmail.com e-mail addresses. While our team is looking into a technical solution, we would like to share the following guidance with you for inviting new students to the system.
1. The Flagship preference for SCS invitation/registrations is the use of the student’s university e-mail addresses.
2. In cases where students must or choose to use a gmail.com address, please advise them to first add the ‘noreply_students@nsep.gov’ as a contact to their Google Contacts before processing the invitation. Students should also confirm that none of their “Filters and Blocked Addresses” rules apply to the ‘noreply_students@nsep.gov’ address.
