Capstone Year in China
In anticipation of the successful completion of their first four years at The University of Mississippi and the achievement of Advanced High proficiency in the Chinese language, all Flagship students are expected to participate in the Capstone Year in China. Students spend the fall semester at the prestigious Nanjing University in the city of Nanjing. There, they further develop and refine their Chinese language skills by studying alongside native Chinese students in their major areas. During the spring, the Qingdao Flagship Center arranges internship opportunities appropriate to students’ interests where they can gain invaluable insight into the Chinese workplace culture of their chosen professional field.
